This winter, from January 9th – 16th 2006., Red Cross of Nis, in cooperation with the Assotiation of families of missing in Kosovo, supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross and municipalities of Nis, is organizing winter camp for about 30 children from Nis, age 10 – 15, at “Gaj” resort of Red Cross in Divljana near Bela Palanka.
The participants on the camp are children who come from families where a member has been kidnapped or is missing in Kosovo, and children from socially endangered families.
As part of practice set by organizing camps last summer, children will be involved in a whole – day programmed activities, psychosocial and creative courses, playing outdoors and will have a one-day picnic to Pirot.
All our activities will be presented to the eyes of the public through our web site, since the children involved in computer and journalism workshops will keep their own electronic diary and a photo album, which they will set at our web site during their stay in Divljana.
