HUMANITY
The international organization of CB Red Cross and Red Half-moon, born in the desire to help wounded people on the battlefield without any kind of discrimination, both on its international and national level have tried to stop and overcome sufferings in all kinds of situations. The aim is to protect life and health and secure the respect for human personality. This organization promotes mutual understanding, respect, friendship, cooperation and the lasting peace among nations.

INDEPENDENCE
This movement is independent. The national societies, as assisting organs of their Governments` humaniarian organizations , must always protect their autonomy which will enable them act in accordance with the basic principles of the movement.

VOLUNTARINESS
This is a voluntary movement for help and it doesn`t come from a desire for gaining any kind of benefit.

UNIQUENESS
There should be only one Red Cross society or Red Half-moon in one country. It must be available to everybody and perform its humanitarian activity on the whole territory.

UNIVERSALITY
The international CB Red Cross and Red Half-moon Movement, where all societies are equal and share equal rights and duties to help each other, is universal.
